CBS’ Under the Dome returns for its third season this week and mentions of the program were strong enough to boost it into the Top 10. After a seven place increase, the summer hit is currently the 8th most mentioned program this week.
Also returning to the air this week is season 17 of another CBS program, the popular reality show Big Brother. Our 14th most mentioned program joins the Top 20 for the first time since August 2014 when it placed #15.
Not to be outdone was CW’s The Flash, which increased its standing by eight spots this week to claim the #12 spot. Its network counterpart Arrow is also trending upward, going from #13 to #10 in our rankings.
TNT’s The Last Ship and ABC’s The Astronaut Wives Club both premiered this past week and have been steadily climbing the charts. Unfortunately both programs missed the Top 20, but check back in next week to see if they can overcome the odds and make it into the final standings.
CBS took full control as the most represented network this week. The addition of Big Brother gave the network six of the Top 20 most mentioned programs, while ABC finished second with three programs and CW claiming third with three programs.
