USA’s freshman drama Mr. Robot has been gaining steam over the past few weeks and mentions of the program were finally strong enough to lift it into the Top 20 for the first time. Mr. Robot makes its debut at #19 and is USA’s first program in the Top 20 since Suits back in August 2013!

Not to be outdone was FX’s vampire drama, The Strain, which reemerges at #15 after the second season returned to the air this past week. The Strain spent eight strain weeks in the Top 20 last summer.

FOX’s new summer program, Wayward Pines  is coming to a close this week and mentions of the show have helped it move up four places to #10. This is the sixth week that Wayward Pines has spent in the Top 10 after making its first appearance nine weeks ago.

Falling out of the rankings this week were Discovery’s Shark Week and ABC’s The Whispers which enjoyed a six week stretch of making the cut this summer.

One program that has been climbing up the rankings these past few weeks is the spinoff to the most popular show on cable, AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead. The program was just a few mentions shy of making the Top 20 this week but with a premiere coming in August, expect the program to be a staple in the Top 20 for weeks to come.

CBS is once again the most represented network in our Top 20 with seven programs making the list this week including five in the Top 10. ABC claims second place with three programs while both FOX and HBO had two programs apiece this week.

New programs in our Top 20: FX’s The Strain (#15), ABC’s Scandal (#18), USA’s Mr. Robot (#19) and ABC’s Modern Family (#20).

No longer in our Top 20 this week: Discovery’s Shark Week (previously #15), ABC’s The Whispers (previously #17) and Grey’s Anatomy (previously #19) as well as NBC’s Law and Order (previously #20).

Each week, Ipsos MediaCT TV Dailies seeks to find out what television shows have people talking. Collecting over 5,000 unaided responses among persons ages 13-64, TV Dailies produces a top of mind awareness meter (TOMAmeter) that details the 20 most spontaneously mentioned television shows.

Here are your TOMAmeter results for June 13 – 19.
