This week in the TOMAmeter we see that several of the newest fall shows, including Quantico and Blindspot, are beginning to show declines in top of mind mention. Scream Queens even fell out of the top twenty. With top of mind awareness for these new shows beginning to fade this leaves room for TOMAmeter stalwarts like Grey’s Anatomy, Game of Thrones, and Gotham to re-enter the rankings or rise back up.
Re-entering the TOMAmeter this week are Grey’s Anatomy (#14) and Orange is the New Black (#15), in the place of Scream Queens (previously #18) and Major League Baseball (previously #20).
Leading the TOMAmeter this week is ABC with five shows, followed by NBC and CBS with three apiece. Fox and the CW round things out with two shows in the TOMAmeter
Each week, Ipsos MediaCT TV Dailies seeks to find out what television shows have people talking. Collecting over 5,000 unaided responses among persons ages 13-64, TV Dailies produces a top of mind awareness meter (TOMAmeter) that details the 20 most spontaneously mentioned television shows.
