Without many major new programs entering the TV landscape in the past few weeks, the TOMAmeter continues to stabilize. There have been two clear winners among the newcomer shows for the fall season in this top of mind awareness metric: Supergirl and Blindspot. Supergirl (#5) has been in the top five programs for the past three weeks, and Blindspot (#13) has consistently managed to stay in the TOMAmeter since mid-September. This is quite a feat considering the many other new fall shows that have risen and fallen in that time span.
Dropping out of the top twenty this week was ABC’s Quantico (previously #18) in favor of Scream Queens (#19) on Fox. ABC continues to lead in the TOMAmeter with four programs represented; broadcast networks CBS, Fox, and NBC follow with three apiece.
Each week, Ipsos MediaCT TV Dailies seeks to find out what television shows have people talking. Collecting over 5,000 unaided responses among persons ages 13-64, TV Dailies produces a top of mind awareness meter (TOMAmeter) that details the 20 most spontaneously mentioned television shows.
Here are your TOMAmeter results for November 9 – 15.
