Fan favorite Orange is the New Black (Netflix) maintains its #1 seat, ahead of AMC’s Walking Dead (#2) and HBO’s Game of Thrones (#3). HBO’s True Blood (#4) makes a jump into the top five after a seventh place showing last week. CBS’s Extant loses its footing – slipping out of the top five into the #6 spot.
CBS’ Big Brother (#9) and NBC’s Law and Order (#15) register the biggest gains this week, with each program moving up five positions. FOX’s 24 experiences the largest decline, moving to #19 after last week’s #13 ranking. Slipping four places since last week is FX’s The Strain (#14), thus losing its previous top ten ranking.
FOX’s Family Guy (#11) shows notably advancement, moving up four spots from the previous week, as does ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, which moves up to #13 from #16. AMC’s Breaking Bad also continues to climb the TOMAmeter, moving up three spots this week to #16.
Incremental gains are attained with AMC’s Walking Dead, which is the second most mentioned program this week. Also moving up the TOMAmeter is NBC’s hit, America’s Got Talent, whichis up one spot to #10. CBS’ NCIS (#8) and CSI (#18), and TNT’s The Last Ship (#12) all retain their respective standings.
CBS continues its reign over the Top 20 with seven programs making the list, followed by FOX, NBC, AMC, and Netflix, all with two programs each.
