With Super Bowl week upon us, mentions of the NFL have propelled it up 4 places to #3 in our rankings behind none other than CBS’ The Big Bang Theory and AMC’s The Walking Dead.
CBS’ How I Met Your Mother continues to climb up the charts, moving up 4 spots this week to become our 16th most mentioned program or TV event.
Some may have thought the Grammys Awards needed to “Get Lucky” to make the Top 20 but the award show debuted safely at #12 this week.
Also making its debut in the Top 20 this week were CBS’ Elementary (#9) and the Olympics (#19) which are set to take place in the coming weeks.
With Super Bowl XLVIII kicking off on Sunday and the Olympics opening ceremony not too far away, how high can each of these events climb in our rankings? Leave your comments below and check back in next week for the results.
Each week, Ipsos MediaCT TV Dailies seeks to find out what television shows have people talking. Collecting over 5,000 unaided responses among persons ages 13-64, TV Dailies produces a top of mind awareness meter (TOMAmeter) that details the 20 most spontaneously mentioned television shows.
Here are your TOMAmeter results for January 20 – 26.
