TOMAmeter February 17 – 23: The Olympics Take the Gold Once Again

For the third straight week, the Olympics has been the most mentioned TV program or event in our TOMAmeter while AMC’s The Walking Dead is standing strong at #2.

With a full week of binge watching at viewers hands, Netflix’s House of Cards moved up an outstanding 13 places to #5 this past week.

Also preforming well in the TOMAmeter this week was AMC’s Breaking Bad. The popular program, which aired their final episode back in September, is now making the final episodes available to stream on Netflix. No surprise that mentions have gone up as the anticipation for the binge watching experience grew closer and closer.

New into our Top 20 this week were: ABC’s Scandal (#16), NBC’s The Voice (#17) CBS’ Elementary (#19) and FOX’s Almost Human (#20)

Falling out of our Top 20 this week were: CBS’ How I Met Your Mother (#10 last week), HBO’s True Detective (#11 last week), NFL/Super Bowl (#12 last week) and CBS’ Criminal Minds (#19 last week)
