Matt brings a journalistic outlook to Ipsos. He spent much of his career as an editor and researcher for Advertising Age and Crain’s Chicago Business. Most recently he was editor of Livability.com — a site focused on helping people find their Best Places to Live. In these roles, he worked with several different Ipsos and Synovate groups as a client. His book, Buyographics, brings together deep data dives and ethnography to explore how demographic changes are impacting people’s lives as consumers, voters, and humans.
In a previous life he was a rock ‘n’ roll photographer but now he mostly takes pictures of his three kids.
