TOMAmeter January 12-18: Empire Makes a Case for the Crown!

Building on its impressive debut last week, FOX’s Empire continued its climb toward #1 only to fall one spot short. The three spot jump to #2 puts the broadcast program just a few mentions behind AMC’s The Walking Dead. If Empire manages to surpass the longtime frontrunner, it would be the second Fox program to claim the #1 spot. The first was Gotham, which did so back when it premiered in September.
