As Chief Research Officer for Ipsos' Health practice, Paul Snyderman serves the market research needs of healthcare and pharmaceutical clients across North America. Before joining Ipsos in 2008, he was the Executive Director and Technical Advisor in Global Customer Insights at Merck.
Paul is experienced in establishing and maintaining best practices in both primary and secondary market research. While at Merck, Paul directed activities including the pre-launch primary and secondary market research in gastroenterology, cardiovascular, pediatric vaccines, infectious disease and women's health categories. His new product launch experience includes market research for such brands as: Zocor, Fosamax, Crixivan, and Zetia. Prior to taking these responsibilities, Paul directed the market research efforts for the oncology and ophthalmology franchises as well as for New Products.
Paul holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and B.A. in Psychology from Temple University. He began his career in market research with the National Analysts Division of Booz, Allen and Hamilton.
