Oscar Yuan is a frequently featured speaker and commentator on brands and brand-building. He has completed speaking engagements at several Fortune 100 companies, as well as academic and industry conferences. He has also appeared as a guest on CNBC and NPR, and is a contributor to the Financial Times, Businessweek, and Fortune.
As President of Ipsos Strategy3, the company’s advisory services unit, Oscar oversees the strategic direction of the firm, as well as leads certain client engagements in brand strategy.
Oscar brings over fifteen years of experience, from both agency and client sides, which spans across such areas as customer segmentation, market research, brand management, and brand strategy, for clients ranging from travel/leisure to financial services to technology to CPG. Prior to joining Ipsos Strategy3, he was a founding partner and Head of Brand at Millward Brown Vermeer in New York. He has also held roles in planning at TBWA and Interbrand. Oscar began his career in management consulting.
Oscar holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and two undergraduate degrees from Stanford University, in Economics and International Relations. In addition to English, he also speaks French and Mandarin Chinese.
